Our Journey and Mission

Horse Power Healing Center began as a dream shared by Linda and Wendy Konichek, who wanted to bring the joy of horses to those without access. In 2009, Wendy returned to Eagle, Wisconsin, to bring this vision to life. Alongside Jodi Olenski, they laid the foundation for what would become a sanctuary of healing and growth. The center officially became a non-profit in 2010, thanks to the support of individuals like Debbie Goetz. Our mission is to provide therapeutic riding and equine-assisted activities that foster healing, hope, and personal growth. We are committed to making a positive impact on our community by offering programs that are inclusive and transformative.
